Phishing is the process of attempting to obtain user names, passwords, credit card details etc. It works like this, an e-mail will arrive in your inbox saying it’s from a bank, building society or ebay etc with a message like, we are upgrading our system could you renew your details by clicking this link. The link then takes you to a fake (spoofed) website that looks just like the real one, where you then give away all your detail.
